Dark Horse comics for August 2012: this is the other cover that caught my eye. This is the cover for Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 9 #12 by Phil Noto. It’s a very simple image, but Noto captures the likeness and attitude of the lead character so well that it makes it stand out from the other covers (helped by the thick line that surrounds her).
