This is just a promo image for Fantastic Four, but it’s good for several reasons:
1. The art, by Dale Eaglesham, is very good.
2. The new writer, Jonathan Hickman, started off with a great 3-part story about Reed, so I’m really eager to see what he’s got in store.
3. Marvel are supporting this new creative team on one of their flagship titles, whch is good.
4. It suggests that the artist on the last two issues of the Fantastic Four won’t be part of these plans (I feel bad saying it, but it should not have been allowed in a current Marvel comic book; it would have looked out of place as a fill-in back in the New Universe days).
