Comic book collection: Sleeper was a truly superb comic book by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. The two seasons, totalling 24 comics, was about an superpowered agent, Holden Carver, working undercover with the bad guys but with everybody thinking he’s really a bad guy because his handler is in a coma. It was well written and well drawn and, last I heard, Tom Cruise and Sam Raimi were attached to make a film of the book. The image is the cover to final issue #12 of the second season, which is beautifully mournful.
