DC comics for July 2012: this is the cover for Fairest #5, drawn by Adam Hughes. He can certainly draw beautiful visuals, can’t he?

Adam Hughes continues to draw beautiful women (and beautiful images) on his covers for Fairest. This is the cover for issue #3

Another visual discovered via Comics Alliance Best Art Ever (This Week): this is a great Superman and Batman visual by Adam Hughes. I love the great design element, splitting the two into the dark and the light, and the way that the bats become birds in the Superman half. This is the cover for Superman #710.

DC comics for March 2012: I already posted the cover to Fairest #1 but this is the full wraparound cover by Adam Hughes, which means I’m excused for semi-repetition. As usual, Hughes draws a fantastic cover.

DC comics for February 2012: this is the cover to Batgirl #6, drawn by Adam Hughes. Another snow-based image, but it only highlights the characters in black, beautifully illustrated as always by Hughes.

This is the cover to the 2011 edition of Monsters & Dames, by Adam Hughes, which is the charity art book done by Emerald City Comicon to raise money for Seattle Children’s Hospital.

DC comics for January 2012: only two covers from this month’s selection. The DC house style for covers isn’t producing the diversity of quality covers at the moment. This is by the always reliable Adam Hughes, drawing a lovely cover for Batgirl #5.

Another Adam Hughes cover I can’t believe I haven’t posted: this is for Wonder Woman #184, and I love the expression on the modern Wonder Woman’s face.

I’m surprised I hadn’t posted this before: a Star Wars image drawn by Adam Hughes. I don’t know what it was for, but I do know that I like it.

The final choice of cover from the Batman group solicits at The Source is Adam Hughes’ cover to Batgirl #4. Hughes is a fantastic draughtsman and designer, and I love the details: the expression on Barbara’s face and the pieces of plastic from the facemask being smashed.

Dark Horse comics for November 2011: this is the cover to the second edition of Serenity: Those Left Behind, drawn by Adam Hughes, who does a great job of capturing likenesses and designing an interesting visual.

DC comics for November 2011: Adam Hughes is a great cover artist. I wish I could afford the book of his covers for DC. I guess jpgs will have to suffice. This is the cover for Batgirl #3.
