Marvel comics for August 2012: instead of someone channelling Art Adams, this is a cover by Art Adams. This is the cover for Secret Avengers #30; I do like his combination of cartoony and detailed.

I can’t believe I never saw (and subsequently posted) this cover before: this is the cover for Fearless #3, drawn by the peerless Art Adams.

Marvel comics for July 2012: this is the cover for Secret Avengers #29, drawn by Art Adams, who can draw superheroes like nobody else; I love his anatomy work, the strength of his perfect lines.

Marvel comics for June 2012: this is the variant cover for The Mighty Thor Annual #1, drawn by Art Adams. He’s such a good artist that he can just draw the character against a plain background and it’s still a brilliant visual.

Marvel comics for April 2012: there are several variant covers for Hulk #50, but I had to choose the Arthur Adams one. Just because.

Art Adams keeps drawing great covers, I’ll keep posting them. This is for Secret Avengers #25.

Another piece of Art Adams, er, art: this is the variant cover to Fantastic Four #600, which is a re-creation of Fantastic Four #82 (as demonstrated by the excellent blog I Love Comic Covers).

I think this is a pin-up from Savage Dragon, documenting the alternative Dragons from different dimensions/realities, drawn immaculately by Art Adams, but I don’t know anything else about it or the issue it appears. Not that it matters when it looks this good.

Marvel comics for March 2012: yes, it’s another Art Adams cover. This is for Wolverine #302 – I love the way that Adams draws Logan, probably my favourite Wolverine artist.

Marvel comics for March 2012: I know, another amazing Art Adams cover. This is for Secret Avengers #24. Look at the detail. And, for an added bonus, it has Adams drawing Captain Britain, which makes me happy.

Marvel comics for March 2012: time for my favourite covers from Marvel’s solicitation for this month. First up is a variant cover to Avengers Assemble #1, drawn by the brilliant Art Adams. I think this is a fantastic cover, and I wish that Adams could draw the interiors as well.

Marvel comics for February 2012: the second cover of the month from Art Adams is Fear Itself: The Fearless #9. He is a great artist for group shots that are actually an action panel as well.

Serendipity: I’ve been posting a lot of Art Adams covers, and Marvel release this visual to Secret Avengers #23, by Art Adams. I love his detailed cartoony style, if you hadn’t already guessed.
