Also a real thing.
A+X: Iron Fist + Doop: K. Immonen + D. Lafuente
Dredd beating the living daylights out of some Aliens. Because who needs marines with the Law around. Shame that the xenomorphs were an afterthought, I would have loved to feature them more prominently.
Marvel comics for November 2010: the ability to draw one of these covers, where the central character is surrounded by lots of other characters who have appeared in the series, and to make it look really good? David LaFuente totally has it; this is a really good cover, for Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #150.
Marvel comics for February 2010: this cover to Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #7 by David LaFuente is really appealing for the tableau it creates in the visual. It tells the whole story with character and and placement, as we see the anger and power of the background characters and the resigned mood on the face of our hero. Really nice.
Marvel comics for September (the full solicitations): this is a beautiful kaleidoscope of a cover, not what you expect on a mainstream superhero comic book. This is Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #2 by David Lafuente.
