I know I was in the Ds but I had to go back to the Cs. The Cowboy Wally Show by Kyle Baker was the infamous cult graphic novel when I first discovered internet-based comic book fandom, via the various rec.arts.comics groups on usenet, back in 1993 or so. When it came back in print, it was easy to see why: it is hilariously funny and a work of delightful genius, as it tells of the Hollywood legend Cowboy Wally, now famous just for being famous, and satirises celebrity. It is a fabulous book and everybody should own it.
